Bullying and Cyber Bullying

"As an educator, I am always looking for new and innovative program opportunities for teens. Working with Urban Improv around topics of parent/teen communication and issues of cyber-bullying was nothing short of outstanding!  The troupe is professional, engaging, responsive and fun. Their style embodies a unique approach to "experiential education" as the participants get to experience something together first . . . and then they are challenged to learn from it."

Adam Smith, Executive Director
North Shore Teen Initiative, Marblehead

Urban Improv’s cyber bullying program includes interactive workshops and assemblies that are customized to address issues specific to schools and community organizations, as well as create riveting and open dialogue.

Our professional actors dramatize scenes of cyber bullying, plucked from the lives of today’s youth. Then the students join in. What motivates the bully? What does the bystander do? What does the victim feel? Students confront the reality – and severity – of the issues. Urban Improv creates an open forum for students and their communities. Our eye-opening scenes address fear, pain, trust, authority, control, and responsibility. Do you know what you would do?
